The Power of Consistency in Class.

Sensei Gabrielle DiCervo

One of the best feelings in the martial arts  is the mastery of a technique. You feel like you climbed another step in your training. This gives you the drive and hunger to keep going for more.

I honestly believe the most important element of taking training without a doubt is consistency.

Most people think it's the actual trading that is the hardest. The hardest part of training is showing up to classes every scheduled day. Every class you take has a small benefit.

However, being able to train with a consistency gives you the real progress.

You're putting in the time that involves you improving your technique.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson once said " Success isn't always about 'Greatness' , it's about consistency. Consistent, hard work gains success.Greatness will come... Success isn't overnight. It's when everyday you get a little better than the day before. It all adds up."

Life happens, but this is why we make sure you are coming to class at least twice a week. You have a schedule which will enable you to stay focused and disciple.

Make up missed classes by coming a different day or on a Saturday morning.

Do the work! And don't over think. Often students who first start in karate overthink everything.

When they do they lose focus on what's important: consistency, patience , and the developmental process.

Rather than over think, focus on trusting the instructor and the class you are participating in.

Just be patience and know that consistency pays off.

I guarantee when you have a breakthrough in class you will remember those times when you were consistent and worked hard.

Consistency is key!
