It will give them a better peace of mind knowing that they have the knowledge and ability to defend themselves against bullies and predators. Not only will the your children have peace of mind but you the parent will as well. In kickboxing class the instructor will advise your child that what they are learning is not to be used to start fights or to abuse the knowledge that is given.

Focusing – We know Focus plays a key role in the mindset of children who have limited attention spans. Our kickboxing program will be teaching your child to focus on the task at hand while improving their listening skills. As a result, your child will improve their ability to stay focused in the dojo, at home, and in school.

Self-Control – Self-control refers to the training that one gives one’s self to accomplish a certain task, even though they would rather be doing something else. This goes hand in hand with developing Focus. When they are put to practice, your child will make positive decisions to complete the task given and allows them to put to practice Self Discipline.

Self-Esteem and Confidence Building – Our Kids Kickboxing program improves a children’s self-esteem through consistent positive verbal reinforcement and our Black Belt Excellence Program. When kids work to earn their next belt level, not only are they learning kickboxing drills and skills, they are building self-esteem and learning to feel good about themselves.

Physical Fitness and Healthy Living – It is important for children to understand the importance of being healthy and physically fit at an early age. The sooner we enforce this concept, the healthier your child will be and the choices they will make in the future and the less difficult it will be to stay physically fit as they grow older. We stress the importance of good eating and good hygiene while physical fitness activities are always fun and rewarding.

Have Fun – We learned a long time ago that kids learn faster when they are having fun. Keeping children interested in their training requires an element of fun, consistent learning and parental support.
